Appendix D -- Test Case Listing
SGP4-VER.TLE
Section titled “SGP4-VER.TLE”Test cases include those used for the figures in the paper (with a keyword ”## fig”), and those used for verification to exercise various aspects of the code. The additional values on the second line were added to simplify automatic processing of each test — the ephemeris starting minutes from epoch (MFE) to the ending MFE, and the delta time step in minutes.
Format
Section titled “Format”Each test case consists of:
- Comment line(s) — prefixed with
#, identifying the satellite and the purpose of the test - TLE Line 1 — standard two-line element set, line 1
- TLE Line 2 — standard two-line element set, line 2, followed by three additional fields:
startmfe— starting minutes from epochstopmfe— ending minutes from epochdeltamin— time step in minutes

##in the comment are used for figures in the paper. - Additional values appended to Line 2 (startmfe, stopmfe, deltamin) are non-standard extensions for test automation.
- Satellite 11801 and 88888 have no international designator (blank field).
- The results in Appendix E use the Lyddane choice with the perturbed inclination, WGS-72 constants, and TEME of date coordinate system.
- These test cases were run using the ‘a’ option to best emulate AFSPC operation.
